Our Philosophy

The Value of Photography

Photographs are important. They capture moments that become memories, an instant of your personal experience and an instant of art. With children growing up faster everyday, family portraits become even more important. At Sonata Photo Arts, we help you shape and express these moments as your family grows; recording the hopes, dreams, and achievements with any and every milestone.

We believe that photographs of your loved ones will always be one of your most treasured possessions. At our studio we strive to produce beautiful images that will not only create a record of your family history, but also capture the unconditional love we all have for our children, the tender relations between spouses, and the robust happy moments of big families. Family is everything. Celebrate your moments together.

We view photographs as an investment for your memories, one you and your family will treasure for a lifetime. Invest well.

On Importance of Craftsmanship

We are true believers in quality and craftsmanship, and this philosophy governs every step of our photographic process, from the first consultation to delivery of finished prints and albums.

During your session you will be guided and advised on clothing and poses, as we want our images to be flattering, well composed and have a beautiful color harmony. Later all images are enhanced to highlight the features of our subjects, as well as to remove any blemishes or flyaway hair. We pay extremely close attention even to the smallest details because our goal is to create a photograph of the highest quality.

Later all our enlargements are processed by a professional photography lab and delivered to our customer mounted with a custom cut matboard. In addition to offering traditional prints, we offer canvas and silver gelatin black and white prints as well, along with custom framing services.

We believe in taking all these extra steps because we know that our products will be kept by our clients for a lifetime. These photographs are bound to become family heirlooms and we treat them with care and respect they deserve.
